Suvi Kangasrääsiö

I am a Senior Specialist at the Ministry of Finance of Finland, with a strong interest in public finances and economic policy. Alongside my professional duties, I am pursuing doctoral research in economics and regularly contribute columns to Taloustaito.fi as a freelance writer.

My research focuses on public finances. Over the past decade, I have conducted empirical assessments of fiscal policy, budgetary forecasts, and Finnish national accounts statistics.

Before joining the Ministry of Finance in 2026, I worked at the National Audit Office of Finland, the Bank of Finland, and the Ministry of Finance of Finland. I graduated from the University of Oulu in 2016.
